A.J. Oster Company
A.J. Oster Company is a wholly owned company of Global Brass and Copper. This extensive network of service centers is located throughout the United States, as well as in central Mexico and Puerto Rico. In addition to services typical of a slitting service center, JIT and other stocking programs are offered. A.J. Oster provides an extensive inventory; such as, copper and brass alloys, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in coil, strip and sheet. A.J. Oster also carries an inventory of leaded rod and other shaped products.
Olin Brass Somers Thin Strip
Somers Thin Strip is a precision re-roll mill producing copper and stainless steel alloy specializing in strip products as thin as 12 microns for electronics applications. This light gauge foil married with Olin Brass CopperBond® (Pink) or CopperBond BlackTM surface adhesion enhancement on one or 2 sides, and P2TManti-tarnish is used extensively in the flexible printed circuit industry. Built on Somers Thin Strip manufacturing expertise and Olin Metals Research Laboratories and extremely thin, high reliability, and yielding ED (electro-deposited) foil down to 1 and 3 microns is also available supporting next generation micro-electronic packaging.
Olin Brass Fabricated Products
Olin Brass Fabricated Products stamps parts made from over 70 different copper alloys, stainless steels, aluminum alloys, and carbon steels. Typical products include flat blanks, shallow draws, deep drawing and parts requiring complex forming operations utilizing; Progressive, Transfer, and Cupping Presses.
Bryan Metals Inc.
Bryan Metals is Olin Brass' answer to meeting the demanding delivery requirements for the automotive terminal markets. Located strategically in the automotive beltway, it services the needs of the major automotive terminal stampers. Bryan Metals competes with a service center on leadtime, but can provide a broader, more customized product range. Buliding upon this flexibility is Bryan Metals hot dip tinning capability and traverse wound reel packaging.
Dowa-Olin Brass Metals

Dowa - Olin Brass Metal Corporation is a joint-venture between Olin Brass Corporation (USA) and Dowa Corporation (Japan) with the objective to make all Olin High Performance Alloys commercially available in the Far East market. Dowa - Olin Brass Metals is a fully integrated casting and rolling mill with a distinctive reputation supplying high quality materials to the IC leadframe market. Additionally, Olin Brass Metals provides a wide range of Olin Brass Developed High Performance Alloys to the automotive and electronics components industries.
Chase Brass
Chase Brass & Copper Company is a wholly owned company of Global Brass and Copper located in Montpelier, Ohio specializing in the manufacture of the most consistent, highest-quality, free-machining brass & copper alloy rod products. Highly regarded Blue Dot™ rod is produced to UNS 36000 specifications and used in various fixtures and fittings in plumbing and decorative hardware applications, industrial machinery, and automotive applications such as anti-lock brake systems, tire valve stems, thermostats and temperature sensors. Pole-line hardware for the cable TV industry is also made from Blue Dot brass. Threadrolling and forging alloys are also available. All of these alloys, including Green Dot™ machinable lead free rod, are available in various shapes and sizes.
