Brass Mill
The fully integrated brass mill is located on the site of Olin Brass' original founding in East Alton, IL, 20 miles north of St. Louis, MO, and employs over 1500 people. The Brass Mill and Casting Facility cover over 300 acres and are capable of producing well over 1 million pounds (450 mt) of copper alloys per day. The primary end product from this facility is copper alloy sheet in coil form ranging in thickness from 0.0024” to 0.250” (0.06 to 6mm) made from cast ingots of any one of 60 copper alloys.
